Stand for “too long; didn't read.” Often used as notes to describe a summary of an article that is lengthy. People have shorter attention spans than they used to with all the information they are presented with on a given day, so summarizing an epic blog post or ebook (think chapter titles) is an important part of grabbing a visitor's attention.
